Mitzy Clementina Bautista

Mitzy Clementina Bautista (Anka Uma Kuntur Sonqo) is a Quechua and Aymara US-born Indigenous advocate and the founder of Kaypacha, a platform bridging ancestral wisdom with contemporary systems. Through Kaypacha, she supports cross-sector organizations advancing Indigenous-led approaches to climate action, Just Transition, and community well-being, while also holding community spaces rooted in Andean spiritual traditions. Drawing from the Andean cosmovision, Mitzy works across institutional and community settings to explore how Indigenous medicine traditions and relational ways of healing differ from Western medicalized models. As a cultural communicator, she has advised foundations, NGOs, and global networks on working in right relationship with Indigenous communities. Her work is grounded in reciprocity, collective care, and harmony with the natural world.
