Diana Negrín da Silva

Diana Negrín da Silva is a geographer, writer and educator working in the U.S. and Mexico. Since 2003 she has conducted ethnographic and archival research in Wixarika territory and is associate director of the Wixarika Research Center. Negrín work engages human and cultural geography, critical race theory, cultural studies, political ecology and urban studies. Her current research examines the politics of Wixarika land defense through a multidisciplinary approach and praxis. She sits in the Advisory Board of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines.
