Julia Eve Mandoki

Julia Mandoki is a researcher, womenʼs rights advocate, and sexual and reproductive health educator of Hungarian origin, based in Amsterdam. With an academic background in religious studies and medical anthropology, she works with international NGOs addressing reproductive rights, womenʼs health education, and access to abortion care. Prior to her engagement in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocacy, her work with the Institute of Ethnomedicine Munich—an interdisciplinary platform for the preservation of Indigenous medical knowledge—shaped her understanding of health ontologies as inseparable from Indigenous histories, cultural practices, and political contexts. Currently, she is researching the intersections of gender, feminist theory, and psychedelics, asking new questions about consciousness, bioethics, and gender- blindness in psychedelic science. Julia is also a trained psychedelic facilitator, musician, and artist. She works with music therapy and supports individuals and groups through intersectional, trauma-aware integration practices.
