Katie Hamaker

Katie Hamaker is a lecturer, adjunct instructor, and PhD candidate at the California Institute of Integral Studies. She teaches courses in critical thinking and academic writing and has served as a senior fellow in the Center for Writing Services. Her research explores the intersections of Jesus, psychedelics, and social justice through critical feminist theory, psychedelic and process philosophical framework. Integrating story and personal narrative, her work examines how transformative experiences challenge inherited religious narratives and invite new ethical, embodied, and socially engaged forms of spirituality.
