Lianna Tullis-Robinson

Lianna Tullis-Robinson, M.A., is a Counseling Psychology doctoral candidate at Western Michigan University and a Visiting Research Student in the Culture and Mental Health Disparities Lab at the University of Ottawa. Her research focuses on how BIPOC communities perceive psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, with particular attention to cultural context, compassion-focused perspectives, and experiences of racial stress and trauma. She is developing the BIPOC Perceptions of Psychedelics Framework (BPPF), an emerging conceptual model that explores how attitudes, openness, and psychological distress may shape treatment interest and decision-making among communities of color. Beyond academia, Lianna is the host of Excited About Entheogens, a talk show featuring researchers, healers, and community voices in thoughtful conversations at the intersection of science, spirituality, and healing. She also leads #OurHealingMatters, a community-centered initiative dedicated to uplifting BIPOC healing narratives and expanding access to culturally responsive mental health dialogue.
