Sheldomar Elliott
With years of experience in food justice, community support and research roles, Sheldomar is deeply committed to addressing food insecurity and advancing Black food sovereignty across the City of Toronto. He actively learns from community members, elders, and peers, grounding his justice work in their wisdom. Alongside his dedication to food justice, Sheldomar is passionate about exploring the intersections of psychedelics with access, community, and healing, driving his interest in the socio-cultural dimensions of the growing psychedelic field. Recognizing a connection between food justice and psychedelic justice, he conducts research rooted in equity and inclusion, aiming to create a more just psychedelic space while supporting sustainable food systems in Toronto and beyond. Through this integrated approach, Sheldomar centres marginalized communities, empowering them in the pursuit of justice and healing.
