Andrew Green Hannon

Andrew Green Hannon has a PhD in American Studies from Yale University. He has taught history, American Studies, and labor studies at UMASS Boston and Emerson College. His research focuses on performance and politics in the American Counterculture. Current projects include an exploration of Project Normal, Timothy Leary’s last behaviorist research study before moving to psychedelics and an account of the publication and contested authorship of The Hashish Cookbook, a seminal cookbook of marijuana edibles in the United States. He is currently curating an exhibit on Psychedelics and Society for the Mahindra Center for the Humanities at Harvard University.
