Karine Vari,
Karine Vari, an educator with a degree in Pedagogy, project coordinator, and a student of the forest medicines for nine years, has been working alongside her husband, Romeya Peño, for the past four years to promote the visibility and strengthening of Noke Koî culture, as well as assisting in the implementation of projects and experiential activities within the community. Her intention is to strengthen the image and importance of traditional Noke Koî healers, and she dreams together with her husband of bringing new possibilities to their family and community, such as access to quality education, healthcare, autonomy, and housing.
