Monica Cadena

Monica Cadena is an Afro-Latinx and Afro-Indigenous California-based artist, digital alchemist, and advocate of sacred earth medicines. As a digital strategist and writer, her work is deeply rooted in stewardship, decolonial practices, healing, and social justice. Through Digital Allyship, Monica applies decolonial strategies to digital work, focusing on ethical and trauma-informed practices. Her impactful work has been featured in Forbes, Vogue, People Magazine, Elle, Rolling Stone, among others. In the psychedelic community, Monica is recognized for her stewardship in creating the first sex and psychedelics conference, Psychedelics and Sensuality, and most recently speaking at MAPS’ Psychedelic Science. Additionally, other collaborations extend to major organizations such as DoubleBlind Magazine, the Fungi Academy, and Oakland Hyphae.
