Pablo Vazquez is a Ph.D student in the Historical and Cultural Studies of Religion at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA studying the intersections between Western Esotericism and Zoroastrianism. A notable Zoroastrian scholar, Pablo is the Resident Theologian of the Hearth of Wisdom, a Zoroastrian initiatory society, and translator of the central texts of Zoroastrianism in "The Sacred Gathas of Zarathushtra and the Old Avestan Canon" (Mantra Books, 2022). Pablo is, along with friend and colleague Alysiana Carter, the co-founder and co- coordinator of the Berkeley Psychedelics, Science, and Religion Working Group, and Pablo is also currently working on a posthumanist theology of liminal beings with Roya Kamvar, Pablo's beloved spouse.
