Rasu Yawanawá

Grandson of the late shaman Tata Txanu Natasheini — Rasu is one of the youngest to have completed the highest spiritual initiation in his tradition, at the age of 17. A young leader fluent in his native dialect, he is also a talented multi-instrumentalist whose art echoes the wisdom of the forest.

Rasu has taken his voice and spirituality to different parts of the world and was also part of the “O Futuro é Ancestral” project, carried out in partnership with the UN and DJ Alok. Now, he shares with us the power of the Saitis—the traditional songs of healing and connection with the forest.

Rasu travels to different places in Brazil and abroad, carrying his legacy and spreading his culture.
