Taylor Loyden

Taylor Loyden is an attorney and advocate at Terrapin Legal, where she focuses on helping communities explore legal frameworks that are protective, regenerative, and grounded in ethical, sustainable practices. Before practicing law, she spent over a decade as a backcountry guide, medic, and educator. Those experiences, along with her interests in ethnobotany and interconnected systems, shape how she approaches this work. She also focuses on building bridges between people and institutions and supporting these practices in ways that are respectful and relational. She is a volunteer with Chacruna’s Council for the Protection of Sacred Plants.
